How much do replacement windows cost?
Most standard vinyl replacement windows we install run about $450 to $900 each, installed. Bay, bow and garden windows cost more because they're larger assemblies. The quick quote on this site gives you a range for your project in about a minute, and the free in-home estimate gives you an exact price.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come to your home, measure every opening, show you samples and give you a written price. No pressure, no gimmicks, and no obligation.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. Windows are custom-made to your measurements first, which usually takes a few weeks. We'll give you a date when you order.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Our own installers do every job, and they cover your floors and furniture before they start.
What does Low-E and argon mean?
Low-E is a microscopically thin coating on the glass that reflects heat back toward its source: inside in winter, outside in summer. Argon is a dense, harmless gas sealed between the panes that slows heat loss better than air. Together they make the window warmer to the touch and cheaper to heat and cool.
Can I get black or wood-look windows?
Yes. Along with white, sand, beige and brown, we offer black and wood-grain finishes, inside or out. Try them on a photo of your own house with the visualizer.
My house was built before 1978. Is that a problem?
No. We're EPA Lead-Safe certified and follow the lead-safe work rules on every pre-1978 home: containment, cleanup and verification.
Can I get a grant for new windows in Sandusky?
Maybe. The City of Sandusky's Exterior Repair Program covers 50% of eligible costs, up to $3,000, for owner-occupied homes. Windows and doors count if you can see them from the main street side. Applications usually open the first Monday in February. The city decides who qualifies, and we're glad to write the estimate you'll need.
Are there grants for windows in Perkins Township?
Yes, for homeowners who qualify. Perkins Township's housing program offers $500 to $10,000 for exterior work facing the street, including windows and doors. Household income has to be at or under 80% of the county median, and you pay a $100 contribution. It's first approved, first served. See our grants page for the income limits and who to call.
Is there still a federal tax credit for windows?
No. The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C) ended for windows and doors installed after December 31, 2025. If you installed in 2025, you can still claim it on your 2025 return. Ask us about current utility programs.
Do you offer financing?
Ask us at your estimate. The payment calculator on this site shows what a monthly payment could look like.
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes. We're insurance claim specialists and can work directly with your adjuster on storm or damage claims.
Do you also do siding and roofing?
Siding, roofing and gutters are handled by our sister company, Premier Roofing & Siding, at the same Sycamore Line address.
What areas do you serve?
All of Erie, Huron, Sandusky and Ottawa counties, including Sandusky, Huron, Port Clinton, Fremont, Bellevue, Clyde, Monroeville, Berlin Heights, Norwalk, Milan and Vermilion.
